En Plein Air Sunday morning at the fort lawn

I can’t emphasize enough the importance of producing original art.  Getting outdoors and painting in natural light has really added to my ease and technique.  It sort of gels the process.  My goal is to produce more completed projects on location.  My inspiration comes from Roger Bansemer who has made it a life work to paint.  If you are feeling frustrated as a fledgling artist, or seasoned artist, things are always better when you share the moment.  I was glad Scott showed up this morning as a painting companion.  I feel my work is always a little better when there are at least two artists in the mix.  When I paint solo it’s more introspective and less productive.  Check out the latest in the painting section of this webpage.  Also, go to www.anonartists.com for painting locations around town on Sunday mornings.
