Ancient City 450th Mosaic Project, a sneak peak…

Here’s Jennifer, the art coordinator, doing intake for the project.  This is probably one of the more beautiful things I have experienced with our community.  Jennifer shared a touching story about several pieces which had been submitted to the mosaic project.  The butterfly and flower in the upper corner was done by a mother and daughter team.  Down in the lower left corner is a fun depiction of a horse and carriage.  Ironically it is the work of an artist friend, Bonnie , who showed me the photo of her work on Sunday.  It really is a “small” town.  I can’t say enough good things about the care and interest Jennifer demonstrated when I submitted my artwork.  The experience made me very proud to be part of this project and I felt confident each piece of artwork would be treated with respect and gentle hands.  That’s everything isn’t it!
