There was a Cello, a Viola and a Violin…

and they were feeling a little plucky under the beam of the lighthouse.

Hint: An elementary school project.

Evidently the best way to welcome a new music teacher is to volunteer to get her a kid friendly logo going for her knew endeavor “Islander strings”.

Who knew a viola was just a wee bit bigger than a violin and that they both had chin rests, I didn’t?  Who knew mustaches grew on wind instruments and birds pulled bows?  Kudos to my overactive imagination.  How to get kids motivated about music…

(It’s not a personal passion.  The only thing music taught me was that frustration is a part of life. )
